Inside Our Books on Manners

Here at the Goodness Gracious Kids’ Club, we promote Good Citizenship in children through our three popular children’s books, Good Manners Are Fun, Good Sportsmanship is Fun, and Good Grades Are Fun.

We believe by teaching kids good manners and positively reinforcing children’s good manners and etiquette through fun games and activities, children will learn that being polite to everyone is cool! We don’t just preach good manners for children, sportsmanship and better study habits – we also provide actual exercises that show children how to apply what they’ve learned to everyday life.

By teaching children how to be more considerate to others, appreciate cultural diversity, and be fair in everyday life, they will grow into adults that are kinder, more generous, accepting and appreciative of one another.

We equip children with tools that make them want to be better people for the rest of their lives and, ultimately, make our world a better place for us all to live.

The Goodness Gracious Kids’ Club also supports good nutrition for kids, recycling, empathy, sharing, healthy sibling relationships and visualization for children.

About The Goodness Gracious Club:
Good Sportsmanship Is Fun

Good Sportsmanship Is Fun is a children’s book where Badsport Bob cheats and is rude and, as a result, none of the other Goodness Gracious Club kids want to play with him.

Finally, when Bob is reduced to tears because he’s all by himself, Jason saves the day by teaching him proper manners in sports. Jason shows him to politely wait his turn, share encouraging words, and congratulate his opponents when they do well. Bob finally absorbs these lessons and goes on to practice good manners while playing nicely with the other children who end up throwing him a cake party.

About The Goodness Gracious Club:
Good Grades Are Fun

Good Grades Are Fun is a one-of-a-kind children’s book where Good Grade Greg used to be a poor student. In fact he was so bad he would goof off in class and daydream while the teacher was trying to teach. Eventually these poor manners catch up to Greg when his parents receive his first report card and end up grounding him. Greg is reduced to tears because he doesn’t know how to bail himself out when Jason comes to his rescue.

Jason teaches Greg the fundamental manner of getting good grades by sitting in the front of the class and paying attention, raising his hand when he doesn’t understand, and making and using flashcards. Greg eventually becomes the best student in his class and his parents reward him by throwing a pizza party for him and his friends.
